Key to active phone card symbols

On each of our individual calling card pages, below each card there is a row of icons depicting properties or characteristics of that particular phone card. We list below each icon used with an explanation of the icon. On each page you can get a brief explanation of the icon by placing your mouse cursor over each icon. When your cursor is over the icon a drop down should appear with a brief explanation.
USA Domestic use only This card can only be used in the US to US destinations.
USA domestic and USA to international This card is a US origin only card. It can be used to call international destinations.
Service available in various countries worldwide This is an international card and can be used in countries around the world where the carrier has service agreements.
Card Expires This phone card expires after a fixed period and generally unused minutes are lost.
Card Does Not Expire This phone card has no expiry date.
Card is rechargeable Calling card can be recharged/refilled/reused by adding money to it either telephonically, via a website or by paying the vendor with some form of currency.
Card is not rechargeable The card has a finite value and when this value is used up or the card expires the card must be destroyed or thrown away. You will need to purchase a brand new one if you wish to stay with this vendor.
Card has a connection fee There is a fee to set this card up.
Card has no connection fee The vendor does not charge a fee to establish this calling card.
Card has a per call surcharge Phone card has a fixed charge every time you call. This is a one off charge normally to make the connection. Thereafter the per minute rate kicks in. Do not buy this card for short duration phone calls.
Card has no per call surcharge Phone card has no surcharge and is normally charged on time used only
Card has a Payphone Surcharge If you call from a payphone using this callingcard there is a surcharge which is normally paid by the vendor to the owner of the payphone to cover the payphone owners cost.
Card has no Payphone Surcharge There is no additional charge to use this phone card from a payphone.
Actual card delivered You will receive an actual peice of plastic. In some cases you will receive a PIN followed by the plastic.
No Card PIN Only No plastic card is delivered - you will receive a PIN only.
